So, schluss mit lustig, mein scheiss PC funzt offenbar echt nur noch mit XP

Suse > Bootet nichtmals richtig, außer das sich ein schwarzes fenster im Boot schirm öffnet

Fedora > Da bekommt er Kernel Panic

Ubuntu > Läuft alles nur der PC bekommt fglrx zum verrecken nicht hinne

Foresight > Installiert zwar, aber fährt nicht mehr hoch

So langsam gehen mir die Distrubtionen aus. Also bei meiner Kiste scheint irgendwas nicht zu stimmen!

Hatte so etwas ähnliches mal wegen einer defekten Festplatte.

Und ein weiteres mal wegen nem defekten RAM Riegel.

Aber so läuft mein PC mit XP wie geschmiert! Kein Plan warum er diese Zicken macht, werd mich nachm Sommer mal nach einem neuen umschauen müssen!

Falls dir das nicht gefällt , schau dir vlt mal Dreamlinux an . Das basiert auf Debian , und ist von der Ausstattung nicht schlecht . Nutzt Xfce und ich habe gelesen dass dort für Nvidia und ATI - User ein einfaches installationsscript dabei ist . Naja kannst ja selbst mal schaun Website

Es ist auf Englisch, kannst aber vieles, nicht alles, auf deutsch umstellen.

Steht dort aber auch beschrieben.

Ich allerdings habe nur Probleme mit der Installation von Dreamlinux gehabt.
Vor allem nachdem ich mal partitioniert hatte.

Also es gibt keine sonderlich gute übersetzung , aber beim booten ist dort eine Komandozeile und dort steht lang=us und dann einfach das us gegen de eintauschen oder das eingeben ,weiß nimmer genau

naja von solchen Experimenten lass ich lieber die Finger, hab mich im Momment genug geärgert. Linux bringt mir keinen Spass mehr sondern eher Frust. Mein PC will einfach keine Distrubtion zum laufen bekommen! Muss wohl auf nen neuen sparen

Wieviele Ram-Riegel hast du denn drinnen? Wenn du mehr wie einen hast, nimm mal einen raus und porbiere es dann noch mals. Wenn immer noch Fehler auftreten, den anderen raus und den ersten Riegel wieder rein. Als nächstes die Festplatten. Wenn dann immer noch Fehler kommen, liegts wahrscheinlich am Mainboard.

Ich nehme allerdings an, dass es die Rams sind. Ich hab mal gehört, dass XP diese zuerst kontrolliert, und wenn kaputte Sektoren (?) erkannt werden, werden die nicht benutzt, um Fehler zu vermeiden. Der Linux Kernel tue dies aber nicht (weiss es jemand genauer?).

So also ich hab meine ATI Grafikkarte zum laufen bekommen. Hab den ATI trieber von der ATI hauptseite runtergeladen und hab noch zusätzlich den treiber aus den Paketquellen installiert, dann ging es erst. problem is nur das die Bildschirmauflösung nicht höher geht als 1024x768
