Sony schränkt die nutzung der GPU ( RSX Reality Synthesizer für Linux ein.
Somit kann man zb. nicht so einfach 3D Games spielen.
Für alle die ihre unterschrift dagegen einsetzen möchten gibt es nun eine Petition.
6450 Menschen haben scbon "unterschrieben".

Right now because of the PS3 firmware limitation we cant...
- Easily watch movies in various formats
- Correctly use 2D applications
- Friendly run lite 3D applications

Useless when it comes to fight against piracy, this limitation is a trouble for honest users but not for pirates:
it makes operating systems as Linux not interesting enough and this fabulous project of Other Os on PS3 seems to drown. A huge number of disappointed comments in many forums are proving this.

Dear Sony, you made us dream, please now dont leave us alone with lost hopes."

Da es ja immer sein könnte, dass ich ein Geldkoffer auf der Straße finde (mit Inhalt versteht sich), mir mit dem Geld eine PS3 kaufe, dann Linux darauf installiere und 3D Unterstützung benötige habe ich auch mal unterschrieben

Auch wenn mich die PS3 net interresiert hab ich mein Siegel mal drunter gesetzt.
