Firefox wird ja auch erst durch seine Addons richtig traege, hinzu kommt noch das seit Version 1 vorhandene Speicherleck, welches allerdings ein feature sein soll. Auch hat sich Mozilla bei dem damaligen Iceweasel-Streit bei mir sowas von unbeliebt gemacht(http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namensstreit_zwischen_Debian_und_Mozilla).

bei mir laeft nach wie vor der Kaze oder Midori mit KHTML/Webcore/Webkit

Ich hab Firefox immer ohne Add-ons benutzt und er war träge.
Von daher bin ich sehr überrascht

also ich benutz ja nur den laptop sprich synaptics driver, hast du vllt xorg per hal? dann must du das ganze in die hal policy schreiben

Naja soweit ich es verstanden habe, bewirkt der Eintrag Option "AutoAddDevices" "false" dass HAL nicht benutzt wird und somit die Werte aus der xorg.conf benutzt werden.
Jedenfalls habe ich einen Desktop PC mit USB Maus, also wird das mit dem synaptics touchpad wohl nicht klappen, hab auch schon in den policy ordner geschaut, weil es ja in deinem vorherigem post drin stand, aber nichts für die Maus gefunden.

Und Opera hat es geschafft mich mit ihrer Beta zu überzeugen. Endlich shared qt4. Das wurde auch langsam mal Zeit. :thumbsup:

Ja mich auch total, Opera ist einfach genial

Habt ihr schon mal [url=http://unite.opera.com/]Opera Unite[/url] probiert? Das mit dem Webserver ist schon recht praktisch. Auch für file-sharing usw.

Klar ich liebe Opera auch. Er ist nur bei mir unbenutzbar.
Er braucht für eine Webseite 5 - 10 sekunden beim aufbauen. Firefox schafft das nahezu sofort und Epiphany mit Webkit ist da noch mal schneller
